To Whom It May Concern,

Over the past several years, the International Studies Association (ISA; www.isanet.org) has been working collaboratively with Language Creations to provide translation services for ISA’s suite of scholarly journals. ISA is one of the oldest interdisciplinary associations dedicated to understanding international, transnational and global affairs. Founded in 1959, its more than 7,000 members span the globe including both academics and practitioners. The Association has long served as a central hub for the exchange of ideas among those involved in the study, teaching and practice of International Studies.

 

ISA currently publishes eight refereed journals (https://www.isanet.org/Publications), spanning a range of topics and approaches. Starting first with one journal, ISA contracted with Language Creations to translate English abstracts into Spanish and French to better serve our members around the world. We have not looked back and now have all of our journals translating abstracts through Language Creations. In all instances, the ISA Editors have been quite pleased with the accuracy and timeliness of the translations. And this project has been very well-received by our members in Spanish and French language-dominant areas of world. Simply put, working with Language Creations has been a wonderful venture in every sense of the collaboration.
